Membership
There are two ways to get involved with the association:
Individual
Membership in the FCRA is open to any resident of False Creek for an annual membership fee of $5. Membership entitles members to vote at the annual AGM (for the Board of Directors), to have a voice in setting the annual priorities for the association, and to serve on the Board of Directors.
Building
Membership in the FCRA is open to any strata corporation in False Creek for a suggested annual contribution of $5/door up to a maximum of $1000 per year. Membership entitles all building residents to stand for election to the Board of Directors, to vote at the Annual General Meeting, and to have a voice in setting the annual priorities for the association.
Additionally, membership in the FCRA entitles buildings to add local concerns to the FCRA’s agenda, and to get assistance in lobbying for help at the local and provincial level for those concerns.
Local Resident Associations
Membership in the FCRA is open to any duly constituted local resident association in the False Creek area. The FCRA is presently comprised of the Crosstown Residents Association, Citygate Intertower Community Group.
Affiliate Organizations
The FCRA collaborates with many relevant community organizations active in the False Creek area, including the Dragonboat Society, Creekside Community Centre, Science World, the Coalition of Vancouver Neighbourhoods, the False Creek Watershed Society and others, and welcomes their participation in our public meetings.
