The fight for a school at Olympic Village continues

Every village needs a school! And that’s precisely what the Olympic Village community are asking for as they petition Vancouver School Board and the Province of BC.

Olympic Village and the south side of False Creek are home to hundreds of young families. Local elementary schools are already bursting at the seams with many having to rely on make-shift and portable classrooms. So what is to become of the kids in Olympic Village who are school aged and needing a local elementary school? What happens when the Province cannot meet the basic educational needs of its citizens?
